strong understanding of linear programming, optimization (e.g. memory allocation), algorithms (e.g. best fit). CPLEX & MATLAB coding
Main deliverables:
1.    environment generation script (MATLAB)
2.    implementation of an existing optimization function & constraints for the generated environment (CPLEX UI & CLI)
3.    implementation of an existing Algorithm for the generated network (MATLAB)
4.    Test Plan script for algorithm
5.    Test Plan script for optimization model

Milestones:
a quick introductory call to make sure expectations are set right
Kick off call to walk you through the model & the algorithm
you will be required to examine the integrity of the optimization model and constraints to points out any gaps.

Hey Hafiz, a follow up on our previous disscusion. In addition to Matlab programming, do you or your team have experience with linear programming and optimization solving using CPLEX?

enviroment script is the matlab script used to generate a network to feed to the model both mathematical using CPLEX and heuristic model using an algorithm in MATLAB
so for example generate number of tasks with specific attributes and number of resources with specific set of attributes
the CPLEX optimization solver will be used to apply maximization function with some constraints
and Matlab will run an algorithm to assign the tasks to the resources
and the CPLEX output is the upper bound to the Matlab output
