توضیح پروژه: انجام آزمایش زیست با توجه به دستورالعمل

Complete pages 89-98 ( black page numbers ) in the custom Exploring Biology in the laboratory manual 

For Pages 92-93 use the Virtual Microscope for BioNetwork 

 ▪️ Access the Virtual Microscope  

 (https://www.ncbionetwork.org/iet/microscope/) ▪️ Click the link and then click Launch app 

 ▪️ Once the app is Launched click the explore tab at the bottom of the window

 ▪️ Click the ? on the Silver box ( the box will have several slides to choose from ) 

 ▪️ Click on animal slides

 ▪️ use Whitefish slides ( interphase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase/cytokinesis)  to complete page 92 * You will need to use the controls (4x, 10x, 40x and coarse and fine focus) to focus slide images. Physically move the slide by placing your mouse arrow of the slide and click and drag. 

 ▪️ 2 options for completing the sketches/drawings (circles) 

 ▪️ Option 1 - Hand draw each, include Total magnification and stage/phase

 ▪️ Option 2 - take a screen shot of the stage/ phase seen through the virtual microscope - include total magnification and stage/phase 

For pages 93 (bottom) - 95 

use the Virtual Microscope for BioNetwork 

 ▪️ Access the Virtual Microscope

 ▪️ Once the app is Launched click the explore tab at the bottom of the window

 ▪️ Click on plant slides

 ▪️ Click Onion root tip

 ▪️ using the slide complete page 95 ** you will need to use the controls (4x, 10x, 40x and coarse and fine focus) and  Physically move the slide by placing your mouse arrow of the slide and click and drag around to scan for the different stages. Sketch the stages you observe in the appropriate circles on page 95 

 ▪️ 2 options for completing the sketches/drawings (circles) 

 ▪️ Option 1 - Hand draw each, include Total magnification and stage/phase

 ▪️ Option 2 - take a screen shot of the stage/ phase seen through the virtual microscope - include total magnification and stage/phase 

Do not complete procedure 3 on page 95-96 , you do not need to answer the questions on page 96

Complete the questions on page 97-98

Pages 99-110 ( black page numbers) in the custom Exploring Biology in the laboratory 

 ▪️ Read pages 99-101

 ▪️ Choose either to complete page 102 or 103 search online resources for microscope images 

 ▪️ You do not need to complete page 104

 ▪️ Complete page 105 search use the Lily Microscope slide available below bio.rutgers.edu/~gb101/lab10_meiosis/meiosis_web/lily_frame.html

 ▪️ Click on one of the outside sections of the Lily microsporangia

 ▪️ The section will magnify and you will be able to see several stages of meiosis, identify and draw 3 for page 105
