Part I:
Four vibration sensors are installed to capture the vibrations of a gear. These sensors
are connected to a Raspberry PI board, and the goal is to detect the anomaly in gear.
You should develop an anomaly detection algorithm to detect the anomalous
vibrations, then send an email automatically if the anomaly is detected.
Part II:
We want to develop an attendee system for the university. This system aims to take
a picture of the students in the classroom, detect the faces in the image, and then
check who attended the class. For this purpose, in each classroom, a raspberry PI
board with a camera is installed to take the picture, detect the faces in the image, do
face recognition, and make a list of the students who attended the class. Since the
face recognition system needs to be modified constantly and for privacy purposes,
the face recognition algorithm needs to be finetuned and modified with federated
learning. Since there are three members in each group, you can use one system as a
server and the two other systems as the clients to do the federated learning for the
face recognition algorithm. The face detection algorithm doesn’t need to modify;
you only should deploy a face detection model based on your knowledge.
